announcing RSPWDC Water Trials, October 2 & 3, 2024

 I  am very happy to announce that the Rio Salgado Portuguese Water Dog  Club of Arizona has a new Water Trials site, and Water Trials at that  site have been approved by the PWDCA.   

RSPWDC Water Trials will be held at Patagonia Lake State Park, October 2  & 3, 2024.  That is correct, the trials are mid-week to have less  conflict of use with the general public at the beach.  Attached is a  photo of the new site (the floats will be removed for the trial).  You  can use the following link to Patagonia Lake State Park to learn more  about the area and camping reservations https://azstateparks.com/patagonia-lake/camping-and-cabins/camping-cabins.

 To  make camping reservations for the RSPWDC Water Trials, go to Patagonia  Lake Reservations, look at the map and decide which camp site you want.   I previously reserved 10 sites near  the beach.    41,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51. Camp sites 43, 47, 48, 49,  50,  have now been taken by water trial committee members, leaving sites  41, 44, 45, 46, 51 available near the beach, reserved in my name.  If  you want one of those, you contact me directly - do not contact the park  reservation system.  For the three nights, you pay me $90.00 + park  reservation fee $3.20 = $93.20.  If you want to stay longer than three  nights (October 1 - October 4) you must make your reservation for the  extended days with the park.  I have not reserved any cabins - you deal  directly with the park reservation system on that.  The cabins are  within walking distance to the beach, but they are perched on a hill so  it would be an uphill or downhill walk.  Attached is a photo of the  camping sites near the beach. 

Please make your reservations as soon as  possible, because they fill up quickly!
